Until recently, online bots offering services to obtain personal data were very popular in Russia. After the tightening of controls and blocking of such services, this trend went down.
Head of Process Automation at Information Security Vision Dmitry Semidotsky discussed the Russian information running market with the CISOCLUB editorial board and said:

- Among what categories of the population bots with people's personal data are most popular;
- What risks are borne by citizens who decide to use services for running personal data;
- What legislative changes can be adopted to counteract the illegal circulation of personal data and whether the return of the «Eye of God» is possible.
