Security Vision has released an update to its platform. Key changes include improved deployment and maintenance, expanded responses to system events, improved report generation, and practical connector enhancements. With this release, the company continues to rapidly develop its platform, making it an even more effective and user-friendly tool for protecting and managing IT environments.
Installation and maintenance of infrastructure
The installation wizard now includes an option to select a repository from which to select distributions for deploying third-party components: NGINX, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Node.js, OpenJDK, Python 3, and PowerShell. You can now use the default repository, specify your own, or specify a local directory on the server. Platform status monitoring now displays the version of each component included in monitoring. Also, when deploying the agent (connector service) to Windows-based assets, you can now install and configure a security certificate for HTTPS connections.
Automation and responses to system events
Notifications for system events now support linking newly created objects to a running workflow. When an object creation event is detected, they are automatically transferred to the workflow instance. Furthermore, the platform can now send notifications and run workflows when a connector schedule is added, edited, or deleted.
To improve user experience, a customization has been added to the title of the modal window in which input parameters are filled when executing a manual workflow transaction.
Reports and document generation
XLSX and ODS reports, a setting has been added to specify the number of lines between blocks for more precise control over layout and readability.
Data, Forms, and Export
The ability to customize input and output forms for properties in additional parameters in system settings has been implemented. When exporting a module, the attached file is now also exported, simplifying the transfer of module packages between circuits and stands.
Connectors, Events, and Card Interfaces
In the "File" connector, a setting has been added for the "Get File" request to automatically shift the position to the previous end-of-line character. When re-requesting, the system retrieves only the newly added portion of the file, which is especially useful when working with log files.
For event analysis in a table format, property serialization information has been added to the list of properties. A setting for the list of monitored properties has been added to the "Widget" card block – the values in the block's content can be updated automatically without updating the entire object card.
