Recently, two pharmacy chains reported a hacker attack: a technical failure was recorded in the work of the Stolichki and Neopharm pharmacy chains. As a result, some pharmacies were closed, drug reservations and loyalty program data on the website and in the application became unavailable.
Director of the cybersecurity monitoring department Security Vision Nikolai Goncharov, on the air of the program "What does this mean?" on RBC, spoke about the motivation of hackers to carry out attacks, assessed the situation with the increase in the number of cases of cyber espionage in Russia and shared how businesses can check the level of their security.
