Ruslan Rakhmetov, CEO of Security Vision, spoke as an expert in a Forbes article on the risks of using open source software. In a post published on February 17 he described how the growing use of open source carries threats from artificial intelligence, changing the landscape of cyber threats.
The reason for the article was a recent incident when the Anthropic Claude Opus 4.6 AI model independently discovered more than 500 previously unknown vulnerabilities in popular open source libraries.
