A new release of the Security Vision 5 platform has been released. The update strengthens automation scenarios, simplifies the setup of integrations and makes analytical widgets more flexible - so that information security teams can quickly launch the necessary processes and see the correct metrics.
Automation and launch of processes
Added launch of a calculated workflow (WP) from object card and graph actions: the required WP is determined dynamically by the value of the input parameter. In the graph you can now select WP from different sources (object/directory properties, variables, filters). This reduces the number of templates and speeds up script configuration.
Library of WP parameters
There is a single library of parameters available in all workflows. Dynamic redefinition of input parameters from multiple sources is supported, which guarantees fewer duplicates and errors when transferring data between blocks.
Avalanche launch control
In alerts and system events, settings have been added to prevent the creation of an excessive number of process instances during mass operations (for example, deletions), up to launching one process per set of objects.
Integrations and execution security
The PowerShell connector offers JEA mode – executing strictly permitted commands without local administrator rights. In EventLog, you can substitute parameters in the log name, and the HTTP connector now has Content-Type: text/csv for systems working with CSV.
Analytics and reports
The “Sequence”, “Speedometer” and “Indicator” widgets, as well as reports, can now take values as the initial value of the Block Result variable - this is convenient for compound calculations and step-by-step data processing.
Interface improvements
In cards of typical objects, table blocks now have a “content-based” width – tables look neater and more informative. Case-insensitive search works in drop-down lists of references to reference books; the event handler interface has become clearer when selecting the following grouping rules.
The update makes the platform even more convenient and flexible for the daily work of information security specialists: fewer manual operations when launching processes, more accurate reports and dashboards, safer integration.
