The Supreme Court has banned shifting responsibility for the authenticity of websites to users, obliging businesses to fight fakes and "mirrors" on their own. For now, this decision concerns a specific case, but if the court sides with the user again after a second review, companies will face increased activity from scammers and trolls, which will require additional costs for cybersecurity.
