Security Vision, a leading Russian developer of information security automation solutions, announces the integration of data from the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC of Russia) on exploited vulnerabilities into its product prioritization algorithms. Now the threat ranking system is based not only on the analysis of global sources, but also on the expertise of the regulator.
The Security Vision Analytical Center receives data on "trending" vulnerabilities from the FSTEC of Russia as part of the interaction on the exchange of information on information security threats. These are vulnerabilities for which there is information about the availability of means of exploitation, as well as their use in real computer attacks. The direct data acquisition channel allows Security Vision to instantly translate this information into protective measures for its customers.
The information received is promptly processed and integrated into daily updates of expertise packages for Security Vision VM (Vulnerability Management), NG SOAR (Next Generation Security Orchestration, Automation and Response), Security Vision SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), and Security Vision TIP (Threat Intelligence Platform) systems. Unlike standard databases that take into account only the theoretical risk of vulnerability (CVSS), the integration of FSTEC data allows the system to automatically increase the priority of those risks that pose a real threat to the Russian infrastructure.
